I LOVE Sunday's {Albuquerque Photographer}

We decided to take the kids to do something fun today after church. It's been all work and no play around here! My nephew and my dad went with us to the aquarium and botanical gardens. We have a year round pass and it's the best money we could ever spend. The kids think they are in heaven. They get to run around and explore all day long! We love it too...being outdoors together is so much fun.

We were in the Japanese gardens here and Craig was pretending to fall in the water to make them laugh.

My nephew is so gorgeous... We went and had ice cream afterwards...Sierra was having way too much fun eating hers!

Boys afternoon...{Albuquerque Portrait Photographer}

Tammy and I took just the boys to a new spot in the Bosque. It is beautiful and when the trees finally get their green leaves it will be even better! The boys had fun hiking, collecting sticks and playing down by the river. We even bribed them with ice cream afterwards to get a few photos out of them. It worked!

This handsome boy is about to be 11 years old!

My fave...

I love how Noah has almost the same face in all his photos...that is just his look right now...so grown up...so serious. I still heart every one of them!

Yard Work

We are still working hard getting our house ready to sell. Today we tackled the garage and then started on the back yard. We made it a family affair so the kids got to help pull weeds, move some dirt around and straighten the rocks. Tomorrow we will be working on the patio area and planting some new flowers. Will we ever get finished?

This is what happens when you are too busy and your two year old dresses herself!
Poor Noah, he actually had to work instead of play the Wii all day....what is wrong with kids these days, LOL!
Sierra was a good little helper...

This is one tuff little girl...

My favorite photo of the day...according to Sierra this is, "The best birthday cake ever!"

Working 9 to 5!

I have been working with my dad at his shop in Old Town this week and will be working all next week too. Man, I forgot what it's like to stand on my feet all day. I am having fun spending some one on one time with my dad though, I didn't realize how much I missed it. (I worked with my dad for ten years on and off part time before I decided to stay home about a year ago.)

Noah got first place at school for his speech about Abraham Lincoln so I am going in the morning (before work) to watch him compete at the district speech meet. Yea! I am so proud of him. Wow, I still can't get up in front of people and talk normally. He definitely didn't get that from me!

I was given a gift certificate for an adorable petti skirt for Sierra. (Thanks Mo, I love it!!!) It was ordered from here and I'm just dying to take photos of her in it. When she saw me walking in the house with it she ran up and said, "That's for me mom... you bought that for me?!" I let her try it on and she danced and twirled all over the house. Girls are so fun!

Last but not least, we are running around fixing up our house so we can put it on the market. (I mean big stuff like, replacing carpet, putting in tile, touch up paint, cleaning out the garage, cleaning our entire yard, windows, baseboards, ect.). Right now my husband and I both work from home. My office is in my walk in closet (with all our stinky shoes!) and my husband is working from our bedroom. I am afraid if we don't get at least one extra room for an office we are going to kill each other, LOL! Anyways, I am so exhausted....not to mention my daughter climbing in bed with us every morning around 5 am. When oh when will she ever sleep later then 5am? I need my beauty sleep and trust me, I have not been beautiful lately.

Which also reminds me, I need a hair cut. My hair is super long and all one length and so boring and dragging my face down. (I think that was a run on sentence.) I need layers or something. I must call my hair dresser soon. Well, before I keep rambling on...I will say good night. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! :)

HAPPY EASTER!

We had the BEST Easter ever! It was cold, windy and rainy but not even that could mess up our day. My sister and Ayden were here from Arizona (YEA!).

We started off our day by going to the early service at Sagebrush Community Church. I did not plan on the cold weather so poor Noah had to wear shorts and Sierra didn't have any tights that fit her. Well, at least they looked cute while they were freezing (bad momma). Noah was so worried that someone in his class would laugh at him because of his plaid shorts. He said they looked like they came from Scotland, LOL! Kim finally told them how cool they were and he was fine. The service was so AWESOME! If you don't have a church you are attending you should really check it out, you will love it, I promise.

Then we headed to my mom and dad's house where the kids opened their Easter baskets and went on an indoor Easter egg hunt. Every year my dad gets the eggs and fills them with candy and prizes (like... go get ice cream with papa, go to the park ect.). Some of them even had money! The kids just love it. I remember him doing that when we were little. I also remember me and my brother leaving all the bad eggs for my little sister (like vacuum the house, or stand on your head). Poor thing, I am so lucky she still loves me!

Next was the yummy Easter lunch that Craig and my mom cooked. We had ham, roast, carrots, creamed potatoes and gravy, asparagus, rolls and of course cake. The only sad part of the day was when my sister had to leave to go back home. I always hate that part but I am so glad for the time we had together. I love you sis! xo

My beautiful little girl...
Ayden calls Noah his "best friend", ahhh... so sweet...
The hunt is on...

She was so excited to find candy in the eggs!
I love this picture!

money, money, money...
So handsome...

I love his smile...The boys got dart guns in their baskets and they had so much fun running around shooting each other! (I don't think he knew Ayden was sneaking up behind him, ha ha)

Why do the boys always get the beautiful eyelashes?The kids counting up their winnings! Cutest kids in the world I tell ya!
