I finally got my 4th of July photos edited. My computer crashed about a week and a half ago and I had to send it in for repair. Craig set up my old (super slow!) computer so I have been able to get caught up on some of my editing. I hope the colors and lighting have looked ok on my last few posts...I don't trust my old computer as much as my new one.
Anyways, we had a wonderful 4th. My sister and Ayden came from Arizona. Yay! The only thing missing was my brother. Craig made a yummy dinner with ribs, corn on the cob, potatoes and baked beans. For desert my mom made lemon bars and then we cut up some watermelon. The kids ran around and played in the backyard until it started to get dark. Then it was time for sparklers! We were a little disappointed because most of them were duds. Oh well, the kids didn't seem to mind. They thought it was fun to try and burn the ants. (poor ants!) Once it was good and dark, we headed to the front yard and did fireworks in the street. So simple but so fun!
OK...the picture in the middle of Ayden eating the watermelon is hilarious! It cracks me up. The photo on the bottom right is my sister, my mom and me.
Yummy!
My mom and dad with all the grand kids...
Three of the cutest kids in America...I guess I am biased though, LOL! :)
I always try to take a family picture on the 4th of July. My sister took the next few photos....thanks Kim!
My favorite.
Sierra got her dress all wet so this is the outfit Auntie Kim whipped up when she went to change her clothes. I think it is so cute! I bought her this tutu for her first birthday party. I can't believe she can still wear it!
This picture makes me laugh! (I used pioneer woman's soft and faded action)
After it started to get dark, I used my 85mm f/1.8 lens. Most of the photos after dark were taken at f/1.8 with the ISO set to 5000! Of course there is some grain but I really like what I got.
Noah and Sierra watching our neighbors fireworks...
Here are the giant sparklers Craig and my dad bought the kids...holy cow!
My sister with the kids watching the fireworks from the truck...
I know this looks dangerous...but they were farther back then what it looks like in this photo!

I love the one of you and your daughter! :) Very Nice Bethany!
Oh, gosh, Bethany, these are all gorgeous! Amazing the clarity that you could get after dark even with 5000 ISO! I love seeing y'all having a ball and enjoying all the togetherness. It gives me such a happy "all is right with the world and God bless America" feeling!
